Born in the aftermath of Vega II and forged in the shadow of Admiral Bishop’s speech, the Brothers of Tyr began as a loyal force supporting the United Earth Empire in the protection of shipping lanes and fleet operations. Over time, victory and loss revealed a harder truth: the United Earth Empire’s corruption, inefficiency, and treatment of colonists made continued allegiance impossible. BTYR chose a new path, no longer bending the knee to the United Earth Empire, mega-corporations, or foreign powers. The mission became clear: build something better, governed by our own Charter, guided by law, and defended by strength.
Today, BTYR operates from the Stanton System with discipline and intent, protecting miners and haulers, hunting criminals, exploring the unknown, and expanding trade. We are a community built on four tenets that define everything we do: Teamwork, Tactics, Maturity, and Trust. These principles shape our structure, our operations, and our culture. We believe in organized action, calm decision-making under pressure, respect in all interactions, and loyalty earned through reliability. As our strength grows, our gaze turns forward toward Nyx and beyond, not as conquerors without purpose, but as builders of an Empire that can hold what it earns.
BTYR is a combined military and civilian organization with clear structure and a strong Code of Conduct designed to protect the community and keep operations effective. From Naval Operations, Marines, Aerospace Wings, and Intelligence to Mining, Logistics, Finance, and civilian enterprise, there is a place for every member who shares the vision.
